No one in the world gets what they want. The most beautiful thing in the world is when we realize this, and realize that it is in our power to receive it.
If you want to get something, you have to want it. There are very few people who are satisfied with the same things they have.
This is the crux of the problem with capitalism, to put it kindly. In the same way that you will be happy with the same job you get, you will be happy with the same car you get, you will be happy with the same relationship you have with your partner. It’s not that we can’t get more of anything. It’s simply that we have to want it.
There is a difference between wanting for something, and having it. The former is satisfied with a small amount of money, while the latter is satisfied with a large amount of money. The fact that we have things we want and we are happy with them is not evidence of being “happy” in the capitalist sense.
In capitalism we believe that the greater the amount of money we have, the more we are happy. But in a capitalist system that’s not what we see. We don’t see that we have enough money to buy things we want, but we still choose to buy them. But in the end, what we choose to buy doesn’t really matter because the thing we buy for ourselves has already been paid for.
In the end, what we choose to buy doesnt really matter because the thing we buy for ourselves has already been paid for.
We see that the things we buy and the things we want are already paid for, but we choose to buy them anyway. We see that the things we buy and the things we want are already paid for, but we choose to buy them anyway.
