While I was in New York for the GAP Summit, I read an article about how to fold your shirt for travel. The gist was, to fold your shirt in the middle of the front, which I’ve done for years. I know it’s a simple, basic thing to do, but to me, it makes sense.
The article also suggested that folding your shirt in the back makes it look more “modern” and “hip.” I think that is a good point. It makes the shirt feel more like a person wearing the thing. But I’m not sure that means it is more comfortable to wear. I’m not sure that a person with big arms and thick chests can comfortably fold their shirt in the back, or that you can fold it in the front, without causing a problem at times.
Thats one of the things that I would change for this shirt. I think that there is a great deal of comfort that can be gained from the position of the shirt, that people with big arms and thick chests should feel comfortable doing this. Im not sure that you need to fold the shirt in the back, or that you can fold it in the front, without causing a problem at times.
It’s worth noting that it’s not uncommon for the folding process to require a degree of skill and strength. The same shirt, if you weren’t used to folding a shirt in the front or back, could be quite difficult to fold. That’s something that I would change for this shirt.
The shirt is quite comfortable once you know how to fold it. I would advise not folding it up front. It can be quite a challenge. People with big arms and thick chests (in particular) will probably need to fold it back in the back.
That said, the best way to fold a shirt is pretty much exactly how I did it in this video. It took me about 20 minutes and I only used 2 shirts.
One of the more frustrating problems I encounter when doing laundry is that some shirts do not fold in the back. That does not mean that the shirt is not wearable, just that it is not folded in the back. The most time-honored method of folding a shirt that I’ve seen is to fold it in the front. The back is also a bit tough because it requires a bit of tension in the hand. The most effective method is to fold it in the back.
All the videos Ive seen of folding shirts at least one day ago that Ive seen show a few more steps along the way. For example, this shirt Ive seen was folded in the front and then folded in the back. The problem is that in this video, I’ve seen a few more steps up in the back and the front. In this case, Ive seen a few more.

Folded shirts can be a very useful travel/laptop bag, but they can also be a bad thing if you fold them too far in the front. While Ive seen this shirt folding in the front and then folding in the back, it is also possible to fold it too far up in the back. With this shirt folding in the back and then folding in the front, you can get it to fold in the front and then fold in the back.
