Machu Picchu is one of the most treasured and most expensive places in the world. The price tag for a day trip to the famed Inca ruins is over $5,000, yet the trip itself is free! Plus, it is the second most popular tourist attraction in Peru, after the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.
It’s a pretty expensive trip and one that doesn’t come with many perks, but it’s still a great trip if you can get it. In Machu Picchu, you’re allowed to enter the ruins by climbing the famous, 400-foot Machu Picchu pyramid. Most of the tourists are on their way to the ruins of Machu Picchu, but there is a small group of us who are going with the intention of making the trip our own.
It is one of the most important things you can do in Peru, and a trip like this one is pretty damn well worth it. That’s why we are going to Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu is in Peru, on the opposite side of the Andes from Cusco, the capital of Peru. You can get there by taking the bus from Cusco to Cuzco, then hitchhiking up the side of the mountain, or by driving a dirt road up the mountain all the way to the ruins. It’s a five day, all-inclusive, one-way trip that costs about $250.
The trip is one of the most important things we do on a regular basis. We have been to Cusco, we have traveled to Machu Picchu, and we have ridden the bus up to Machu Picchu. Now, we are making the trip once again. We are taking the bus again with the goal of seeing Machu Picchu.

As a result, it is a place where many of the Incan elite would stay and live out their days. There are many stories of how a Spaniard who knew the Incas would get lost in the ruins.
Machu Picchu is the location of the “greatest treasure in the world.” Of course, to get to the ruins you have to go through a whole series of ancient ruins before you reach the summit of the mountain that’s the most important part of the city. There are several other ruins scattered throughout the place, but the one that you might want to see first is Machu Picchu.
The Incas weren’t the first to make the pilgrimage to the Inca city of Machu Picchu. They found a way there sometime in the 6th century A.D. but it’s not known how they got there other than the fact that they would have to pass through some kind of tunnel system.
Machu Picchu is a 5 hour hike from the city. You can also visit the ruins where they found the tunnel system but I recommend doing that in order to see what’s inside. It’s worth it though because you can visit a museum devoted to the history of the Incas and the city itself and get a good idea of how the Incas built their city.
Machu Picchu is famous for its natural beauty, but the Incas were also very good at building their city. They used a combination of natural stones, earth masonry, and earth, and the masonry was built to look like natural rocks, making it one of the most impressive buildings in the world.
