The name arlberg.com is a reference to the Austrian city of Arlberg which was the site of the first “arlish” (meaning “austerity”) city council elections in the city of Vienna, Austria in 1848.

So, this city council election was the first in the history of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and was the first time a city council was asked to decide how much of the state budget should be spent on the public sectors. This was a radical change in how much state money was spent in the country.

The arlberg.com website claims that the state spend was cut by 10,000 billion euros in the entire country’s public sectors budget. I’ve never heard of that and am skeptical that 10,000 billion euros is actually accurate. With a population of just over 2 million, it’s a small amount of money, too.
